Seminar Day: Postcolonial thought and social movements

CISPAC organizes a new edition of the Seminar Day next February 19. On this occasion, the themes of the meeting will revolve around post-colonial thought and social movements.

There will be the participation of Burghard Baltrusch (BiFeGa-UVigo), with the presentation “Decolonial thought and artistic and artistic practice today”. Followed by the researcher Carlos Benítez Trinidad (BRASILHIL-USAL), with the speech “The construction of the imaginary of the Brazilian Indigenous Movement (1974-1977)”. Carlos Diz (ESOMI-UDC) will speak in his turn about “Active landscapes of mobilization: multiple temporalities and uncertain futures”. The round of exhibitions will be closed by Andrea Souto García (ESOMI-UDC) with the presentation entitled “Crossing the political/ethnosexual borders: the migration of Latin American women as a decolonial movement” and a round of debate.
