Call for Expressions of interest in linking research staff to CISPAC
On January 29, the Governing Council meeting of the Interuniversity Research Center for Atlantic Cultural Landscapes was held. One of the points approved was the call for the secondment of research staff at the center. With this open call, he wants to link to a sufficient number of researchers able to design and lead lines of research and transfer related to Atlantic Cultural Landscapes to meet the strategic aspirations of making CISPAC a center of reference.

Eligible candidates
This call for expressions of interest for joining the CISPAC is aimed at PDI staff from the universities of A Coruña, Vigo and Santiago de Compostela (*), with a permanent link with the institution to which they belong or with a contract as Professor/Doctoral Assistant/ to It may be considered a researcher linked to the postdoctoral research staff hired specifically in charge of HR programs. competitive (Beatriz Galindo, Ramón y Cajal…) or distinguished researchers hired within the framework of USC’s own calls.
It is intended to incorporate research staff with proven scientific experience, capable of boosting and improving the center’s capabilities and giving coherence to its programs. Please emphasize in the application the experience of the candidates in collaborative research projects or networks related to the main fields of the CISPAC scientific agenda, in the field of social and human sciences. Exceptionally, trajectories in the other major academic areas will be valued when they are based on previous and mature experience of collaboration in networks and projects in CISPAC fields of specialization.
For the evaluation of the research career of the last 10 years, the accreditation of six years of research and transfer, the relevance of the scientific production, the direction and participation in competitive projects and contracts and transfer activities, the direction of theses, as well as other academic merits (congresses, participation in scientific and editorial committees, …). The affiliation of the research staff to CISPAC will be for a period of four years (with a biannual interim evaluation) extendable for periods of the same duration, subject to a favorable evaluation by the External Scientific Advisory Council of the activity developed in that period. The associated staff will maintain their teaching affiliation at the university of origin and their research activity will be linked to CISPAC.
Evaluation and selection process
The evaluation process will be carried out by the CISPAC External Scientific Advisory Board. The formal appointment as linked research staff of the candidates who meet the indicated criteria of excellence will be approved by the Governing Council of CISPAC, through the signing of a formal commitment to the strategic objectives and organizational policy of the center, without in any case conflicting with the own regulations of the university to which each linked member belongs.
