Eduardo Corbelle Rico is Senior Lecturer in the department of Agroforestry Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela, where he is also part of the research group, Territorio, Biodiversidad (TE-BIO). He is a member of the Science, nature and society section of the Consello da Cultura Galega and USC representative in the Steering Committee of the EU - Support Facility for Agricultural Innovation.
His main lines of research revolve around the study of land systems and their uses, in the context of socio-ecological transition, also being interested in the changes experienced in the forest masses of northwestern Spain.
He is currently participating as principal researcher in the project "A new cross-disciplinary framework for studying the landscape over the long term" (CROSSLAND, KA201-2019-007), in the framework of the Erasmus + program. He also participates as a researcher in other competitive activities, such as: "CO-producing Nature-based solutions and restored Ecosystems: transdisciplinary neXus for Urban Sustainability (CONEXUS); or "Sustainable Hub to Engage into Rural Policies with Actors" (SHERPA).
