Aurora Grandal d’Anglade es profesora Titular en la Facultad de Ciencias de A Coruña. Es coordinadora del grupo de investigación: Grupo Interdisciplinar de Patrimonio Cultural y Geológico (CULXEO).
Sus líneas e investigación principales giran en torno paleobioloxía de macromamíferos cuaternarios, a morfometría de úrsidos e outros mamíferos cuaternarios, a reconstrucción paleoecolóxica mediante isótopos estables en restos fósiles, a filoxeografía de mamíferos cuaternarios ou os estudos isotópicos de paleodieta en xacementos arqueolóxicos.
La segunda parte del proyecto acaba de completarse este año "Stable isotopes from the Maqbara graveyard in Alarcos (Ciudad Real). Bone sample processing and isotopic analysis service”. Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha; e o proxecto “Stable isotopes of faunal remains from the Neolithic cave En Pardo (Alicante). Bone sample processing and isotopic analysis service”.
