Juan Luis Montero Fenollós

Juan Luis Montero Fenollós is a Senior lecturer in Ancient History in the Faculty of Humanities and Documentation at the University of A Coruña (Ferrol campus). He is part of the Grupo Indisciplinar de Patrimonio Cultural e Xeolóxico (CulXeo) of the UDC. .

His lines of research include the archaeology of the Near East (Mesopotamia, Syria and Palestine) and, more specifically, heritage, identity and memory in the countries in conflict in the Arab world.

He is currently principal investigator in the ‘“Proyecto arqueológico en Tell el-Far’a: del Bronce Antiguo al Hierro en el norte de Palestina”, funded by the Ministry of Culture and Sport and the Palarq Foundation.
