David Peón Pose graduated in Economy Studies by the University of Santiago de Compostela but got his PhD in the University Da Couruña. Nowadays he is senior lecturer at the Busines Deparment of the UDC.
His studies are focus on the analisis of accounting data, for the study of financial access and the capacity of the PEME for the country side.
From his second line of research, he studies banking and behavioral finances, focus on the understanding. form a academic and empiric viewpoint, of the concentration process in banking and FinTEch's emergencies.
He has recently finished his participation as scholar in the project of the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, Riesgos climáticos, estabilidad financiera y decisiones de inversión en los mercados financieros, RETOS 2018. Nowadays he takes part on the proyect Money in transformation: actors, processes and social effects of financial innovation, RETOS 2019. The project includes 16 scholars from different disciplines: sociology, economical analysis. economic history, business. The objective is to contribute to the explanation of how money and other payment methods are changing, who is taking part of it, and its social consequences in financial terms for inclusion of business and families.
The candidate took part in four contracts of transference (artigo 83 da LOU) and leaded a fifth as the major scholar. On three of this contracts, the contribution from the candidate was focus in the economical-financial analyses, the statistic level of the industrial business on the study. Finally, he was member of the Comité Organizador & do Comité Científico of the 35 International Congress Passive and Low Energy Architecture PLEA 2020, one of the fist and most important to talk about sustainability in architecture and urban design.
