Next Tuesday, May 27, the seventeenth session of the “Theses in Discussion” cycle will be held at CISPAC, a space for presentation and debate around ongoing doctoral research.
The session will begin at 11:00 with the intervention of Luca Grisolini , researcher at the Università degli Studi di Firenze. Grisolini is a sociologist and PhD candidate in Experimental Pedagogy and Adult Education. His research focuses on collaborative governance in interior and marginal areas, with a focus on participatory processes promoted by public administrations and the skills of the actors involved. He will present his work entitled “Gobernanza colaborativa en las áreas internas: análisis de los procesos y de las competencias para una elaboración de políticas territoriales más eficaz e inclusiva. El caso del Casentino”.
At 12:00, Hager Fathi , assistant professor in the Department of Archaeology and Excavations at Ain Shams University (Cairo, Egypt) and doctoral candidate at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. A specialist in bioarchaeology, she has participated in several excavations in Egypt and has focused her work on diet and dental diseases in ancient societies. She will present the paper “Osteoarchaeological insights into climate change and its effects on the population of the Predynastic Maadi Civilization” , in which she analyzes the effects of climate change on the population of the predynastic Maadi civilization based on the study of bone remains.
The activity will be open to the public and will take place at the Lar do CISPAC.
