The reception of proposals for the 16th ESA conference is open


The European Sociological Association (ESA) announces the celebration of its 16th conference in Porto between August 27 and 30, 2024. The theme of this will be linked to ‘Tension, Trust and Transformation’, in order to capture the perspectives of activism on climate change, inequality and violence, as well as crises and global challenges, among others.

The Regional Network on Southern European Societies (ESA RN27) contributes to this event with a series of sessions on approaches and sociological research in this territorial area.

Researchers must send the summary of their proposal before January 15 through this link . Among the topics to be presented, proposals related to:
