Next Thursday, July 4th, the Consello da Cultura Galega hosts the conference ‘As rodas do Bronce Final en Galicia: entre os mortos e para os vivos’ (The Late Bronze Age in Galicia: among the dead and for the living). This will take place at the headquarters of the institution, on the 2nd floor of the Paxo de Raxoi (Praza do Obradoiro, s/n, Santiago de Compostela) throughout the day, from 9 am to 8 pm.
Two CISPAC researchers are also part of the program. On the one hand, Pilar Prieto Martínez (also a member of the EcoPast group and the USC) will present three communications: the first, at 10 am, together with Santiago Nogueira Ríos, under the title “A escavación na roda de Lavandeiras (Xove)”; the second, at 12 noon, together with Luis Cordeiro Maañón and Francisco Alonso Toucido, entitled “O Corro dos Mouros (Adai, Lugo), a round with the soul of a cemetery”: 10h, together with Luis Cordeiro Maañón and Francisco Alonso Toucido, titled “O Corro dos Mouros (Adai, Lugo), a round with the soul of a six”; and finally, at 12:30h, also with Luis Coordeiro Maañón, he will talk about “An approach to the round from a territorial perspective”.
On the other hand, Mª Guadalupe Castro González (also member of the EcoPast group and the USC) will present at 12:50h, together with Pablo López Fernández, “Reconstruíndo a paisaxe prehistórica luguesa a través da teledetección. A comparative example between rocks and tumuli”.
