The second volume of the science communication journal T·I·A·S is now available, focusing on fire and wildfires. This issue is entirely based on research carried out by CISPAC researchers, which serves as the foundation for the stories included in the publication.
T·I·A·S is a science outreach journal that uses narrative formats to bring research closer to the general public, transforming academic work into accessible stories without losing rigor. The volume, titled Fire and Science, offers an approach to fire that moves beyond emergency-driven perspectives, framing it instead as a phenomenon connected to territorial history, land-use practices, rural transformations, biodiversity, and community care.
This issue is linked to the session on fire held on 30 October in Santiago de Compostela, organized as part of CISPAC’s activities.
The journal’s website and the full PDF of the volume are available through the corresponding link.
