Jakson Renner Rodrigues Soares, professor at the Faculty of Tourism of the UDC, member of the Research Group on Tourist Experience and the Research Group on Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (State University of Ceará-Brazil) and researcher at CISPAC, has just been included in the list of 10 finalists for the Educa Abanca Best Teacher in Spain 2024 Awards, in the University category. This Sunday the list was published with the ten finalists for each category established in the awards: Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Secondary and Baccalaureate Education, Non-Formal Education, Vocational Training and University.
The awards ceremony will take place on March 15, 2025 in the city of A Coruña, as part of the Educa 2025 World Education Congress. The winners of each category will be announced at the ceremony. The winner will receive a commemorative statuette and a cash prize of 1,000 euros, while the rest of the finalists will be recognized with a statuette and a diploma.
The Educa Abanca Awards stand out for their willingness to recognize excellence and dedication in teaching, valuing the ability to inspire students and promote good educational practices. In addition, the organizing committee announced the opening of the nomination period for the 2025 edition, which will end on July 31 of that year.
