The new research group Aevum. Idade Media e Medievalismos (GI-2213), coordinated by researcher Diana Pelaz Flores (USC-CISPAC), is organizing a new activity.
Next Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 7 p.m., the researcher Ulrich Pfisterer (Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte, Munich) will give the lecture Mandrake – A Natural History of Image-Making in Early Modern Europe in the Sala de Profesorado of the Facultade de Xeografía e Historia (USC). Pfisterer is professor of Art History at the LMU in Munich and director of the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte. He is a specialist in Renaissance and Modern Art, with a wide track record in iconography and image theory.
