Conference by Darina Martykánová

On Thursday 19 January, CISPAC welcomes historian Darina Martykánová with her presentation ‘Hero and victim. The rural doctor in the corporate discourse of doctors in the 19th century’.

This activity, which will begin at 12:00pm in Seminar 103 of CISPAC, is part of the Cycle of Conferences organised by the HISTAGRA group.

Darina Martykánová is a historian specialising in the history of the technoscientific professions (engineers and doctors) and the transnational production and circulation of technical and scientific knowledge. She also researches masculinities in the discourse of progress and civilisation.
