The three Galician interuniversity research centers CISPAC, CITMAga and ECOBAS have just signed the Declaración de Compostela ‘Da Ciencia con conciencia’ in which we assume the commitment to build a collaborative scientific ecosystem based on excellence and social utility, with an approach open to cooperation with other public research centers, both university and non-university.
We call on more Galician research centers to join, in an open and participatory manner, this initiative of commitment to Open Science, to the construction of a new citizen science and to a model of academic training in the process of transformation. The Declaration, a document open to contributions for improvement, emerged at the 1st Conference of Interuniversity Research Centers of Galicia which took place in February.
