Executive Bodies

In addition to the three academics who compose CISPAC's scientific management: the scientific director, the deputy scientific director and the secretary; the Scientific Committee is the collegiate executive body whose mission is to guide the main lines of development of CISPAC's scientific plan.

The scientific management of CISPAC is represented by a PDI belonging to the universities of Coruña, Santiago de Compostela or Vigo, with permanent links, who may hold office for a non-extendable six-year term. His tasks include the institutional and external representation of CISPAC and the promotion of the Centre’s scientific activity and knowledge transfer.

The executive scientific management is represented by a researcher member of the Centre, chosen from among all its associated staff, who, by delegation of the Centre’s scientific management, assumes the presidency of consultative bodies and the coordinated execution of their agreements, among other functions of cooperation, assistance and management support.

The deputy transfer directorate main function is to coordinate the centre’s knowledge transfer and valorisation strategy, and the management of the services offer. It also assumes the functions of general secretariat, such as taking records of the acts agreed by the executive bodies, and the custody of the archives and legal documentation.

The Scientific Committee is the representative body that expresses the will of CISPAC’s research community. It is made up of the Centre’s scientific management, two research members permanently linked for each of the major areas defined in the agenda and one non-permanently linked research member of CISPAC. It is elected by direct suffrage from among its related staff.
